I have made an observation regarding the use of bicycles in Europe. I have noticed that as we have traveled around Europe there have been an ever decreasing amount of bicycles. I personally enjoyed the fact that so many people in Leiden used bikes instead of cars.
I feel like on the big cities more people will try to steal the bikes while in the smaller cities, the people are.more trusting. Like in Madison, the city tried doing the bike rental system for everyone but many of the bikes got stolen, I feel like this happens in the larger cities.
